The flagship company of the Group, Emmsons International Limited, is managed under the leadership of the Board of Directors, 50% of the Board being Independent. The directors as a group provide core competencies such as accounting or finance, business or management experience, industry knowledge, strategic planning experience and Tax.

The Group follows a Collective - Leadership model, wherein the department heads are empowered to use their specific Commodity experience not just to take charge of day - to - day affairs relating to the various physical trades, but also encouraged to participate in the planning and execution of long-term objectives of the Group. A Central Management Team, headed by the Managing Director, is responsible to achieve the financial objectives set - forth by the Board of Directors towards our stake holders, but also is directly accountable for fulfilling the Social and Moral obligations to the various communities that form part of our various businesses, directly or indirectly.
